Job Description

Requirements and Qualifications
  • As an employee for ACL Live at the Moody Theater, I received an internship position with the Media & Communications Marketing department.
  • I am responsible for marketing and promoting upcoming shows for both the downstairs club 3TEN, and the upstairs venue, The Moody Theater.
  • My daily schedule consists of creating pre-sale email lists, updating the weekly newsletter, organizing documents that list the cost per show, confirming local news websites have information relating to upcoming shows, and general promotion of shows.
  • My out-of-office work consists of working the day of a show. Whenever I am working a show downstairs at 3TEN, I am responsible of taking photos and videos that are then collected and posted onto social media outlets, usually posted as a live stream so that viewers may see what artists are performing that night. Whenever I am working a show upstairs at The Moody Theater, I am responsible for escorting professional photographers and informing them of the photo policy (first 3 songs, no flash). I also use social media for these events.
